Order picking trucks
Order pickers are designed to prepare orders, both on the floor and at height. They provide direct access to machine orders on one side, and to the load on the other. Close to the stacker and the Pallet truck, the Order picking cart is powered by an electric motor.
There are order pickers that allow you to work on the ground. Other types of forklift also allow you to work in elevation.
The Order picking cart or picking basket must be able to carry the operator. It has a small platform to accommodate the operator. We recommend using machines with extra-long forks, so as to be able to pick two or three orders.
Goods order picking

Some models of order picker can be used by the order picker in small spaces, while others can support a very heavy load and a very high working height. Order pickers are generally grouped into three different categories.
Order picking cart with floor operator station or horizontal picker
This is one of the simplest order-picking trucks. The operator works at ground level. It is used to prepare orders for items occupying only the first storage level (on the floor, on shelves, etc.). This truck has space for the driver and can carry one or two pallets of products. Extra-long forks are available to handle an additional Pallet of goods.
Order picking cart at medium elevation
This type of truck enables the order picker to reach higher heights, up to around 6 meters. There are generally two options for medium lift order pickers:
- A non-slip platform on the top of the engine block.
- An electro-hydraulic lifting system that raises the platform to the desired level.
You should also bear in mind that the second option is more expensive.
Order picking cart with high lift
High-level order-picking trucks can lift loads to heights of up to twelve meters. They feature a block containing a traction motor, battery, controls and hydraulic pump. A mast is incorporated into the basket, enabling the order picker to lower the load to the height best suited to his work.
